Who can see where I live?

Nobody sees your exact location, and Cohab doesn't store it. Your address is yours to share in the chat, when you're ready.

Can a host see how much I can pay?

No. Your maximum rent is a filter, and it stays on your side. A place above your budget simply won't appear. The host never sees your maximum or learns why you weren't matched.

I'm going away for a few months. Can I let my place?

Yes. Offer your room or the whole place for the months you're away, with an end date.

How much does it cost?

Cohab is free to use. Cohab+ is optional, monthly or lifetime, and prices show in your own currency.

What if a chat goes quiet?

Cohab gently asks whether you're still interested.

How do I get my data, or delete it?

In the app, Settings (the gear on the Account tab) → Your data has Export my data, which gives you a copy of what we hold. Settings → Delete account removes your profile, listing, matches and messages. The Privacy Policy explains what's kept, and for how long. A Cohab+ subscription isn't cancelled by that, so cancel it in the App Store or Google Play too.
